I wrote Sex and the Single Guy because God did an incredible work in my life and proved to me that a young, single guy can live a life of sexual purity. Not only that, but He showed me that living and walking in purity is far more fulfilling, exciting, and even enjoyable than a life wrapped up in sexual perversion.
Victory over sexual temptation is available for any guy who cries out to the Lord and is willing to be inconvenienced for the sake of holiness, regardless of your past. Psalm 119:9 spells it out: “How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.” Sex and the Single Guy is an arsenal of practical ammunition in the battle against sexual sin, written in the hearts of over sixty guys and more than a dozen girls. The book addresses topics such as Godly attraction, lust, relationships, pornography, masturbation, fornication, and loneliness.
The book doesn’t cover every issue that guys deal with, however – and that’s where
josephknable.com comes in. I wasn’t able to address every guy’s struggle, and even if I addressed your struggle, you may still need additional information on that issue.
