Sex and the Single Guy


	March 21, 1983 - Born in urban Cleveland, Ohio 1986 – Moved to Elyria, Ohio, picked out our house (or so I thought) and named our dog all as a 3-year old 1990 – 7 years old – Prayed that God would give me all of difficulty and unhappiness of my life as a kid, so that I can be happy when I grow up Spring 1995 – Moved from the city to the country, where I went to Jr. High and High School. January – May 1998 – Lived with my Uncle Rick in Cincinnati for half of my freshman year of HS March 22, 1998 - Born Again March 25, 1998 – Baptized at the Tri-County Vineyard in Cincinnati Fall 1998 - Attended North Central State College as the youngest student to ever enroll there at 15. That’s right; my mom sometimes picked me up from college. 1998-2001 – First accountability partner: Sam Richard Summer 1999- Spring 2000 - Lived with my senior pastor for my junior year of HS May 2001 - Graduated from South Central High School – a public school with graduating class of 64 June 9, 2001 – My sister Ellen married Jason Thompson September 19, 2001 - Started at Cedarville University Spring 2002 – Acted in my first college theatre production, Inherit the Wind Summer 2002 - Intern at the Eleuthra Bible Training Center in Eleuthra, Bahamas 2002-present – Second Accountability Partner: Joe Schneider September 2002 – Enlisted in the Air Force (ROTC) Summer 2003 – Attended Air Force Field Training in Ellsworth AFB, SD Fall 2003 - Spring 2004 – Served as an RA for a freshman dorm Summer 2004 – 14 weeks in Australia and New Zealand– student teaching at The Kilmore International School and short-term missions May 6, 2005 – Commissioned as 2nd Lt in the US Air Force May 7, 2005 – Graduated from Cedarville University July 2005 – Entered Air Force active duty near Tacoma, Washington August-September 2005 – Air Force training in Alabama SSG Timeline 1994 – Age 11 – The struggle with sexual immorality began March 22, 1998 – Saved – Christ conquered the power of sin in my life, but the struggle remained August 3, 2002 – God changed my life in the area of sexual purity October 2002 – Started writing late one night after sharing the message of victory with a friend of mine December 2003 – Finished the first draft of the manuscript April 2004 – Signed with Moody Publishers Fall 2004 – Started speaking publicly about sexual purity December 2004 – Manuscript editing finished February 9, 2005 – Book pre-released February 15, 2005 – My friend Robbie gave me my first copy of my first book April 2005 – The book was officially released May 2005 – Went on tour with several friends sharing SSG Today – still speaking to groups about the message of purity and victory in SSG and fighting battles as they come each day
